Nicey
I should like to add my dissatisfaction at fruit teas to that of Penelope Reid. Fruit teas smell *amazing*, prompting you to ask the owner of the cup for a taste. However, they inevitably taste like they've been watered down with approximately three million parts water to one part fruit and, like a similarly diluted homeopathic remedy, totally fail to satisfy.
Yours, etc,

Nicey replies: Yes and I have just realised that I can use the 'fruit' and the 'tea' icon for this.

Fruit tea! whats the point of that then? my workplace canteen is only offering flavoured teas at the moment. They offer no caffeine or dunking possibilities, so how can these tepid ribena like offerings possibly share the nomenclature of the honest cuppa? Any ideas? I believe we should
implement tighter controls on the use of the word 'tea' in descriptions of warm water based beverages to avoid further torment.

Jacob's Mikado Review |
Ahh..fond memories. Maybe it's just me, but I used to eat Mikado biccies by scooping the jam out with my finger, then pulling off the marshmallow.
As for Iced Vovos (or Iced Volvos as my hubby used to call them) - they're a pale shadow - they're too flat & nowhere near spongey enough.
As for me, I'm a new Tim Tam addict, and have the suck down pat. And yes, they remind me of Penguins too - but has anyone tried the tea slurp through a Penguin yet? We need to be told.
I'm looking forward to a 2 week stay with my parents to relive my biccie fantasies very soon!

Hi there all at NCOTAASD.
I thought I'd let you know that one of my favourite bands, Delririous?, have put a page on their website devoted to tea and its usage to them in the recording studio.
For any tea and music lover, it's a great page!
Thanks

Nicey replies: Nice mug shots there. |

Biscuit Enthusiast Mandy
Tim Tam vs Penguin Review |
I saw the mail from Tom Alred and can, indeed, confirm that I have tried M&S extremely chocolatey mini bites.
They are extremely chocolatey, in fact exactly as described on the plastic tub in which they are packaged. and take the form of a growth stunted mini roll, coming in varieties of orange and milk chocolate. Very rich, very sickly; but very delicious. I'm sure there are all sorts of activities to which they might lend themselves! :-)
As for the totally chocolate covered Jaffa Cakes. I have never seen those, although they sound very good indeed.
Btw, Nicey. I have now eaten about four Tim Tams and am completely smitten. Were I not due to get married in three weeks, and in dire need of fitting in a posh frock, I might investigate some other flavours. Alas, that will have to wait. :-)

Nicey replies: Yes whilst we were at the Tim Tam launch Biscuit Enthusiast Mandy, valiantly volunteered to supervise the younger members of staff. For her bravery she received a pack of Double Coat Tim Tams which we liberated from Australia House. |
