Brit teaches about Jaffa technique

When Marianne from Southend-On-Sea posted a short video on YouTube.com explaining how to eat a Jaffa Cake to Americans, she might not have realised what she was setting in motion. Now Americans are sensibly searching out the well known British tea time treat keen to sample its delights not least to try and follow Slayerettes (Marianne's interweb name) instructions.
Slayerette recommends nibbling off the rim, then biting the sponge off the back and eating it. Next she recommends popping what is left in your mouth and removing the remaining chocolate with ones tongue to leave just the smashing orangey bit, which can then be eaten. Her claims that this is the de-facto way of consuming the Jaffa Cake in the UK have apparently been accepted by many. The short video clip has spawned a number of imitators around the globe, each showing how to eat one of their local treats.
Personally I think the truth lies somewhere between a) nibbling off the edge then peeling off the chocolate piece by piece, peeling off the orange bit then eating the sponge followed by the jam and b) just quaffing them down whole in a steady unbroken stream.
