Tricia D Arnott's Mint Slice Review	Dear Nicey, How lovely to see the Arnott's Mint Slice — remembered fondly from childhood and beloved to this day — reviewed as Biscuit of the Week. I feel I should share with those new to the Mint Slice one method of gaining maximum pleasure from these lovely biscuits. Turn the biscuit upside-down and nibble around the edge underneath to create a gap between the chocolate around the edge and the bit that covers the mint filling. Use your lower front teeth to prise the disk of chocolate away from the mint filling. This can be eaten straight away or saved for later. Scrape, lick or suck the mint filling off. Lick the chocolate off the back of the biscuit. Eat the biscuit in little pieces. (This is a good dunking opportunity.) If you haven't already, eat the chocolate from the top. Hours of pleasure!
Audrey Starkey McVities Milk Chocolate Digestive Review	What an interesting site and nothing but pleasure! I can almost taste the biscuits as they're discussed.  What about views on dunking and more importantly, HOW to dunk properly.  I like McVIts milk chocolate digestives, two together, choccy side in, and DUNK, the choc just oozes out.  So yummy!
Sarah Farley Foxs Party Rings Review	Hoorah! for party rings. Much like the (entirely savoury and now mucked-about-with) hula hoop, party rings can be eaten off the finger. Unlike hula hoops, however, I can't get a whole party ring in my mouth at once, but if the first bite is taken with care, enough of the hole can be left so that the biscuit stays on the finger. Re Crispin's Iced Bears, I do remember half-chocolate covered zoo animals, Cadbury's I think - but they're still going, aren't they? sarah
	Nicey replies: Yes Cadbury's Animals are still around although they seem to only be available bagged in mini sized versions. The full sized ones used to inhabit a box, and were a delicacy. I would like to get my hands on the full sized ones again as I have some Zoo Leibniz biscuits from Bahslen which I would like to put head to head with them, in a 1966 sort of way.
James Coghlan Malted Milk Review	Sir, Unless I am mistaken I am unable to find a review of the milk chocolate covered version of the ever-popular malted milk biscuit on your site. As a fan of both chocolate digestive (plain mind you) and malted milk, the chocolate version represents the highlight of my morning. Until I introduced him to it, my financial consultant had never even heard of the product (and he's 29). It has changed the way he enjoys his hot beverages. Mind you, Sainsburys are partly to blame too. Their own-label biscuit isle comprises the usual favourites (Morning coffee, digestive, rich tea, nice and malted milk) but the chocolate version is inexplicably situated in the "organic"section some twenty feet away. As a test, when questioned, even a member of staff was unaware of the location or possibly the existence of the chocolate version. A review will surely bring a much deserved promotion to this product and put pressure on Sainsbury's to give this jewel in the biscuit crown the recognition it deserves. They're only 92p, which, granted, is some 20-30p more than their non-choc equivalents, but still comfortably undercuts the brand name chocolate lines.
	Nicey replies: You are of course correct the Chocolate Malted milk is a wonderful biscuit, essentially a Malteaser rendered in the medium of biscuit, I shall try and fit it in its own right. As you point out there are those who are entirely unaware of its existance. Your Sainsburys must have unilaterally lost the plot, ours puts them next to the other halfcovered biscuits.
Jackson Green HobNob Review	Hi Nicey I was wondering if you or a well travelled reader could give us antipodeans a little clarification on British chocolate terminology. Here in New Zealand we have Milk chocolate (which we would consider "plain chocolate") and Dark Chocolate. There is also white chocolate but that is a whole other topic really. Anyway, in your Hobnob poll I see there is a Milk Chocolate variety and a Plain Chocolate variety. For a New Zealander these would amount to exactly the same biscuit, yet I am sure this is not the case. Ooh, the mystery! Regards Jackson
	Nicey replies: Jackson, We call Dark Chocolate, Plain Chocolate, when we aren't calling it Dark Chocolate. re: white chocolate. I have a consignment of Kiwi Snow Toffee pops on its way to me ETA Wednesday, although they might be a bit melted and smashed.
