Good day to you sir.
I was enjoying your site when I noticed your comments on pink wafers! I cannot express how outraged I was at the said comment, so I am writing this email to tell you. I, as a child, would save up my pocket money all week just to buy a packet of pink wafers, which I would then eat in about 2 mins.bring back pink wafers, I say, and i'm sure i'm not alone!!
Kindest regards |
Nicey replies: You are not alone in your regard of the Pink wafer, and its nice to hear of your childhood memories of them. However, I was traumatised as a child by a biscuit tin which contained nothing but wafers, by Huntley Palmers I believe, and this has left me with a deep mistrust of wafer biscuits unless there is chocolate involved.
I've also seen them being flogged off on the cheap in those dodgy value shops which you get, which is the biscuit equivalent of going on the game or something.
Sorry if my harsh words, have caused you further distress. |
